Softball game versus East Forest on Thursday 4/10/14 will be played at Slippery Rock High School softball field starting at 4:15 pm.


Spring is finally beginning to show itself with elevated temperatures, more sunshine and daylight savings time.  As spring approaches we would like to inform you of some key dates for you and your child as we approach the end of the school year.

April 30 Elementary Band and Chorus Spring Concert High School Auditorium 7:00 p.m. (incorrect date listed on the school calendar)

May 2 - No School (Act 80 Day) Prom

May 8 - High School Spring Choral Concert, 7:00 p.m., HS Auditorium

May 14 - High School Band Concert, 7:00 p.m., HS Auditorium

May 21 - High School Jazz Band Concert/ Chorus Spring Concert, 7:00 p.m.

May 26 - No School - Memorial Day

June 6 - Last day of school for students

      Commencement, 7:00 p.m., HS Auditorium

As of November 2011, the Moniteau School District will be utilizing a remote deposit system to deposit check payments.  Please note that all checks written to the Moniteau School District, Moniteau School District Food Service Department or any other affiliated School District Accounts, will clear in a much quicker time frame than in the past.  Please make sure funds are available when issuing a check payment. 

Student Fees

The Moniteau School District is environmentally committed to a recycling program. We have "paper only" containers set at the high school and Dassa locations. High School - North and South Parking lot. Dassa - West parking lot by the baseball field.
They are the green containers, this is open to the school and for public use. The following items will be accepted in these containers; Newspapers, Magazines, Catalogs, Mail, Envelopes, Folders, Fax and Copy Paper, Colored Paper. The following items are not to be accepted; No Phone Books or Cardboard!
